The Sephardic Music Festival which is exactly what it sounds like - Mizrahi, Yemenite and Ladino traditional music artist performances and discussions - and will be happening this coming week. I do recommend you go to any one of these events. Much of the world music influence in some of today's off-kilter indie rock acts can be traced back to the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sounds which will be showcased extensively. More info here.
